Friars sisters will perform at Imperial Theatre Nov. 24, 2008
SAINT JOHN - We all know the role of those trained in first aid is to help an injured person until professional medical help arrives. Under the new Mental Health First Aid pilot project to be introduced in District 6 and 8 schools in September 2009, 50 trained teachers - 25 in each district - are to become the first line of help for students suffering from anxiety or depression until they can get the professional help they need with a mental disorder. The “Who makes a difference in your life” program, run by Bayview Credit Union, is a wonderful way to Celebrate the people in your life you truly make a difference. Think about how many people have stopped to think about who makes a difference in their lives! And the entries are so incredible! An excellent program!

The Investor's Group
This company brought Craig Kielburger to the largest venue in Saint John , Harbour Station, so there would be enough room to invite thousands of local students to attend his thought-provoking presentation. It was an inspirational evening!
The Food for Thought Project
Two women from the Kennebecasis Valley , Jane Ashfield and Mary Ann Gallagher founded “Food for Thought” - a project that allows children to own books for free. The books are shelved at the Kennebecasis Valley Food Bank. Visit Benjamin's Books for more information.
